HCFANY Annual Spring Meeting

On Tuesday May 19 HCFANY held its annual spring meeting in Albany.  23 member organizations were present to  discuss HCFANY’s position on the four Governor’s bills as well as hear presentations from Troy Oeschner Deputy Secretary for Health Insurance at the NYS Department of Insurance describe the Governor’s ambitious insurance reform bills.  HCFANY supports much of these reform measures, but in a Memorandum of Support/Opposition, HCFANY raises some concerns about a few key points.  Read HCFANY’s Memo here.  

After the presentations, HCFANY members meet with key legislators about our perspective on health insurance reform.
